1st attempt at sculpting
« on: August 08, 2011, 12:22:50 AM »
Hi everyone. this is a pic of my sculpture. I made a wire armature, then used air dry clay to get the shape. Then i made a cane using blue and gold polymer clay and applied thin layers onto the air dry clay.

Havent been able to shape the head yet.

Superb job Brian!

I love that they have found some lush vegetation to hang out by already too ;-)

thanks so much! I surprised myself a bit too. I guess you never know what you can do til you try something. I can assure you i was very hesitant to start and still lack confidence that i can do it. All the great comments may change that. Thanks again.
