Yeah you are! Give it a whirl.

Here's what you do - chose colours with lots of contrast in terms of light and dark,  but that you know will all mix together nicely into a good new colour. So maybe white, sky and navy blue or whatever.

Then, if you hate what you make or it all goes wrong, you can squash it up and still have some nice blue clay to use in another project.
