Cheers ladies your too kind lol....it's so much nicer when canes turn out like there meant to!

Shirley I'm not sure on what to do with it, might reduce it & veneer beads with it? Or maybe keep it till i get a moment of inspiration?

It was superbly clear Anna - thanks so much. I hope to find time to try it myself soon.
I've made plain spliced canes in the past, but never thought to do them with skinner blended clay - that is a great variation and really makes the cane a lot more interesting.

Very pretty!  You'll get some lovely beads with that  8)
