I don't even have my own cat right now, but I am still totally turning into a mad old cat lady with every passing year. It seems unavoidable.

I have a scary feeling I'll one day end up wearing kaftans and a turban, surrounded by big fat persian cats and calling everyone "dahhhling" whilst smoking honeydew herbals  from an overly long cigarette holder.

Or is that just my mental image of full-blown mad cat lady?

Oh Faith - that's just you  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

We have our slightly creaky darling tabby and of course when we go off in the caravan have to arrange for him to be fed......so we keep saying that we won't have another when he "goes"  :(
But I expect when that time comes it will seem terrible to be cat-less and we will be off to the CPL or RSPCA like a shot  ;D

oy, Carrie,  have you got a hidden camera in my house???   and how do you know I smell of cat wee???? ;D   lol

I just cant imagine a house without cats - although I must add not all of mine are indoors all of the time.  The stud boys live out in their own houses for obvious reasons (they stink) and the girls take it in turns to spend time indoors - there is a block of 4 houses and runs on decking in the garden and then a 2 x block outside the kitchen window.  They live in pairs as a rule and come in regularly which they love.

I normally have 2 or 3 entire females in at any one time, along with the 4 neuters that live indoors 24/7.  All the kittens are born indoors and raised with us and the dogs so totally humanised and dog-proof!

so, I dont smell too much of wee!  (sniff, sniff.....???)

I think, somewhere deep down, on some level,  you *do* know the answer to this one.
