Finishing the backs of pieces!

For those who have been commenting about seeing the backs of pc pieces etc. (*Sorry - doing this in a hurry & haven't looked up the threads this has been mentioned in - or by whom  :-[ )

Thanks Bev! Very good thread! I'm going to work more with my backs and this is useful! Would be great if we could upload  photos here with our backsides...eh....well the claywork backsides ;)

I tried a signature cane once, not my best effort. Still, had its benefits, it was much better squished up! Love the way if something doesn't work out, it can become something else, and there is never enough scrap clay.

I'm a member of the backstory Flickr group. I do manage to remember more often these days to do something with the back of items but I don't always remember to take photos.  I got a stamp made with my name and do sometimes remember to use that!

Im the administrator and i sometimes forget too. I also like to see mini tutorials and how people handle putting or stringing things together in any unusual ways. Here are some Hollw domed pendants with Jump ring bails I made.

I love to see when people put as much effort into the back of a piece as the front  :)  I should try & do that really... ;)  ;D
