Finished my first non-jewellery piece.  It's a trinket/jewellery/coin/key dish.  It's handmade just from polymer clay.  The roses were time consuming, but I had great fun making them and I like the imperfections ... that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.  ;D  It's about 4" (10cm) square.  The leaves were cut out with a leaf cutter as I wanted the pedestal legs to be the same length - although I had to cut them shorter as it happens, but I wanted the pedestal to have uniform 'legs'.  The bowl and legs are made of two layers of clay with brass rod inside to add strength.  I hope you like it. :)

Thank you very much, Beadbug, Emma and Karolina. :)

I had always planned on doing other items as I got more used to working with polymer clay, Emma.  I really enjoyed doing this and I've been having real problems with my eyes the past few weeks - so not doing such tiny flowers for a change was really nice.  I've got a few things I want to up-cycle (if that is the word) ... or probably down-cycle in my case. lol
