That looks like a clever hinge mechanism, Joe.  Excellent. :)

Some gold foil/leaf and alcohol ink things I've been doing ...

My wife wanted a pair of red earrings.  The choir she sings in wear black with a piece of red jewellery and is called 'The Phoenix Singers' - so I thought some Phoenix flames. ...

Finally, again, gold foil and alcohol inks on black clay with the addition of micro beads.  I called this set 'Bejeweled Leaves'. ...

Thank you so much, ladies. :)

Karolina, I hadn't thought Russian for that set, but I see what you mean. :)

Well, today is Sue and my 29th wedding anniversary sooooo - I made her a little gift.  Green is her favourite colour and lilac/violet is mine - so it would have been rude not to have chosen these colours.  I would have preferred to have used a gold chain and findings, but I didn't have a gold coloured pendant bezel and, as they say, beggars can't be choosers.  Anyway, Sue seemed really pleased with them and in the end that's all that matters. :)

Thank you, Karolina.  And congratulations to you too. :)  Of course, my problem is that next year is our Pearl wedding anniversary.  What on earth do I do then?  ;D

Thanks, Carrie.  The texture is just a needle tool and whatever you can get up to with an old toothbrush. :D
