Small projects
« on: April 04, 2016, 09:28:07 AM »
I had a few hours spare and as I am still getting used to clay and learning I set about creating some unicorns and mice.
So happy with how the little guys turned out.

Oh they are wonderful!

I like how one of the mice is guarding his cheese with his tail!

The unicorns are adorable also. I agree, the translucent blue one especially so - what clay did you use to create that wonderful colour? I don't know why, but it seems just perfect for unicorns - like I have any idea what colour unicorns should be though! But it seems very right!

I used fimo effects blue ice quartz.  Had no idea when I started using it that it would turn out like that. It is now my favourite and I am planning on making lots of things using that one.

Been trying my hand at fairy doors.  This is a prototype and is very small.

Oh that is very cute -

I wonder, do fairies also have their own fairies with fairy doors in their houses? They would be really small fairies indeed!

Made 2 new witches cats which I love.
Also made an old english sheepdog for a friend at work as well as a cockatiel and a rat.

So happy with how they all turned out.

Oh those are all fantastic!

Witch-cats! Love it!

And that sheepdog is so lovely, I am sure your friend will adore it.

Please keep sharing your work, I can't wait to see what you make next.

Oh they're lovely!

And yes, its always good to plan ahead! After all, all the big stores will now be preparing stock for their Christmas season and anyone who is making and selling their work should be thinking in a similar way - planning for their Christmas selling.

But yeah - I totally get you Carrie - I've only just got over the last Christmas so definitely want to enjoy a nice Summer now!
