Fan Art of Tomb Raider
« on: August 16, 2015, 12:34:35 PM »
Hello,

I'm a big fan of the Tomb Raider games and when I heard about the new one coming on mobile, Lara Croft GO, I couldn't resist by doing a sculpture!

It's not really pretty for 2 reasons: Lara Croft is too small (less than 2cm) and I didn't manage to do a good shape for the squares. But well, it's not that bad neither. ;)

Feel free to share your thoughts!

I think it is wonderful!

I used to love playing tomb raider. I still felt the first one was the best, Lara was more feminist and the loneliness of her seldom meeting with people made it so atmospheric. Even if there was a bug in the code that made dead aligators hang in mid air once you'd emptied water out of a room!

Only 2 cm high i must say you made her look good. That is not easy to make such a small figure.

Hi Lara, (nice name) This is great. My son is a games fan and has for years been making Plasticine models of cartoon and games characters,
DAffy Duck, Dick Dastardly, Spyro the dragon, Mario and Luigi, Snake and Otacon etc, but he never made a Lara Croft. I think you did an excellent job.

Can't begin to imagine making anything so small - and making it look so good!   Brilliant!

Fab work on such a small scale! Hubby and I used to play the game too but I had to do the swimming and balancing sequences as hubby would either drown her or send her plummeting to her death, he was better at the jumping and swinging parts.
