Sanding/colours bleeding?
« on: May 24, 2015, 11:52:10 AM »
Hi all
I have a question and would appreciate any advice.

My current project is an Aboriginal playing a didgeridoo! I have made the didgeridoo using bands of different coloured Fimo soft. I will need to sand after baking with wet and dry paper. Will the wet sanded particles bleed into each colour? For example will white bands become grey from the black band?
Hope this is clear!

Thanks
Richard

No, the colours should be set once baked.

Otherwise, sanding anything could 'blur' a pattern or whatever, and that doesn't happen.
