Armeture questions adding cured hands and feet
« on: May 14, 2015, 05:01:15 PM »
I am making my first armature and have seen many tutorials on building armatures where the limbs are sculpted and cured then attatched at a later time to the main structure. How do you connect hands made on wire to an armature arm? Or the foot? Glue? Wire? I can find no tutorials on this only making the hamds and feet and head directly on the armature. Also... If i am not screwing down the feet of the armature how do i adhere the wire into the wooden base for stability? Glue again? Please help. :( Any tutorials on the human figure using polymer clay explaining how to build and bake and construct pieces separately would be really appreciated!

Try putting: "how to make an articulated polymer clay figure" into google, I found a fair few results with that.
