Thank you.

He's just slightly larger than a walnut. But I've just started another, even smaller head, here they both are with a five pence, a cent and a ruler to show scale:

I have not got very dexterous fingers, in fact they are pretty clumsy, and having arthritis I'm not about to get any better at this, so this very small head is going to be as small as I can go.
The small one is very far from being finished, I'm hoping it'll turn out to be female but if it still looks ugly it'll have to be male. Lol!
It's the opposite to this challenge, being (at the moment) without deliberate blemishes.  We'll see how it goes.

Fran,
Awesome faces.  You are so good.  Couldn't believe it when I started to read this thread.  You go, Girl.

Ok Fran...here we go again! And I promise not to squish this one lol

I'm restricting myself to an hour per session then putting it down. It a bit all over the place at the moment and I've no real plan as to how he's going to be but we'll see! A lot to do but going to take my time....says he lol

Really?  Well thanks, Boni.

Here's the smaller head and I've been working on the other head with big ears a little bit:

Big Ears is actually one I started before the other 2, so big ears is really head 1, the Pirate King is head 2, and the tiny head is number 3.
I think number 3 will be male, I can't seem to make it look any pleasanter, so it'll just have to be a bloke.  It needs ears, and a little smoothing, and maybe the lips are a bit big... um... not too sure about the hair either.

Oh hi Richard, hey he's looking really good.  I'm glad to hear he won't be squished.  I find that I work a bit better when I'm not tired, so I try not to do too much in the evenings when I'm tired but don't realise it.  It really makes a difference, something I can't get right in the evening seems much easier the next day.

I wonder where Mel's got to...
I hope she's okay, she was going to have a go at a character-ful head too.

He's coming along now. He's had all his teeth extracted and is now in the fridge awaiting some serious wrinkling lol
I'm going to call him "happy man who can only eat soup"

That's great, Richard.  I'm rubbish at wrinkles, I wish I knew how to do them like you.

Okay, so here are my 3 heads, first the little tiny head baked:

with metal painted on:

The Gypsy, also painted:

While finishing off those I also decided to turn my long faced, big eared, chap, into a Green Man, or a Green Cabbage Man:

And here he is painted with copper:

Now they just need patina.

Thank you Richard.  They do look nice in the metal paints.  This is just a stage in the process though. Once I've got enough layers of paint on, then I'll be adding Patina, and then (hopefully) the Dye Oxides.  Not that I've got to the dye oxide stage on anything else yet...  I just fall in love with a previous stage and don't really want to go any further with it.

Sad really.
