Software for bead tutorials
« on: January 12, 2015, 03:38:54 PM »
Good afternoon, ladies and chaps,

I am slowly getting into teaching jewellery-making, particularly using seed beads.  In books and magazines I see lots of 'How to make a spiral rope necklace' or 'How to make a brick stitch amulet' articles and they have lovely big, clear, drawings showing the beads and the thread path.  However, on trawling the internet all I can come up with is software that converts pictures or photos into bead patterns.  I want to be able to send my guests home with written and pictorial instructions as sometimes the project to too big to complete in one session.

Can anyone shed any light on this or am I doomed to spending hours drawing beads and thread paths by hand?!

I know there is beading software - but don't know what is available and if any are any good.

If no-one here can help you, I'd try finding some beadwork groups on facebook and ask there.
