Can people who sell online on sales websites like the above give an update on how they are doing?

The last post on this subject was in the early summer.

Are you faring better now with sales, as things are heating up for Christmas?

I forgot to add Not On THe High Street. Which BTW I find very expensive to join.

Hi

I find that Christmas makes no difference to me on  the internet but makes a MASSIVE difference on the  high street.

I think the key issue with any online selling is marketing.

If people don't know you are there, they won't shop = be it Christmas or any other time.

Increasingly, on venues like etsy, ebay etc - you can still be lost in the crowd, so marketing there is every bit as important as if you were going it "along" on the WWW with your own website.

My thought process was that joining one of those sales portals would make things a bit easier than having own website.
