Finished Treasure Box
« on: October 09, 2014, 12:48:12 PM »
Phew!
I hate deadlines.
But this Treasure Box was finished, just on time:

And close-ups of the 3 tiles:

The birthday girl seemed to really like it.

Such lovely colours! And how they catch the light and turn metallic is fascinating

I am so impressed, I have been speechless (until now, of course).  And, you have been telling us you are new to polymer clay??!!  That's true, right??!!  She must look at every detail.  It's beautiful.

Apart from using beige sculpey III on a rare occasion and mostly some years ago, yes.  Totally new to using it so much new to Premo new to coloured clay, and new to a lot of wonderful techniques that I never knew existed.  But not new to crafting, I've done that for some while.

Thank you.

I must admit to liking it enough to have gone out and bought 2 more of those little 9 drawer chests.

I think it was 2 & 1/2 packs of Tranquility and 1/2 a pack of Peacock Pearl, a fair bit certainly.

That's beautiful Fran, bountiful and a lovely colour. I'm glad the birthday girl liked it, she is lucky to receive such a gorgeous gift.

Thanks.
Last time I saw her happened to be at her house, and she was eager to show me that she was keeping precious things in it.  Isn't that nice?
