There be dragons!
« on: June 09, 2014, 08:47:49 PM »
I make and sell polymer clay dragons and am dying to show them off to an experienced community of clay nuts!
Let me know what you think and I appreciate honest opinions as getting them off friends and family is hard (Oh that's sooooo lovely and amazing and wonderful...dear)

My favourite it the Emerald Dragon, I think because it is the least cute and I feel that dragons are at their best being fierce but that's just a matter of taste.

They are all good skill wise.  What is your target market when you sell them?

ps. Loki is beautiful  :) someone who likes cats is always going to go down well round these parts.

Hah! The Emerald Dragon was a HUGE pain in my backside! I started him and got half way through and thought "dear god what have I started!", he took 3 days of pretty much solid work to do, far longer than I had planned. Target market...hmm hadn't really thought about it tbh, I'm new at selling them tbh, they seem to get allot of interest from 18-20 yr old women, who knows what that means. I have had a few male friends ask me to do more fierce or realistic dragons but tbh I don't think my skill level is there yet.

Yes Loki is lovely if a bit thick =)

I really like the way you have pushed the contrasting colours to enhance the tiny details. This is a great range of very cute little creatures :)
