Thank you!
« on: April 07, 2011, 08:30:54 AM »
Another day at the bus stop waiting for a bus to take me to my 9-5 job. Another day waiting for what seems like hours...but the good thing is that at least now I can entertain myself looking and reading through the forum. So thank you Emma for a wonderful forum and thank you girls for all your terrific posts that make my journey to work so much more enjoyable!!! Massive thank you to ALL ;D

Oh thank you Natalia!

What a kind post!

Although I really am just the facilitator. It is you guys who will make - who are making - this forum into a great place to be!

Definitely agree with Natalia!!

I sit and read the posts on my phone in Starbucks before work.....And then I spend all day at work thinking about what I'm going to make when I get home  ;D

I can say the same thing Shirley! As much as I enjoy my 9-5 job, I can't help but spending quite a lot of it thinking about clay, I even have a notebook on my desk where I draw and take notes of ideas so I don't forget. ;D

To be honest, even though I do this stuff full time its the same for me. I get very little time to actually sit down and make stuff. I can't remember the last time I made any polyclay beads. All recent claywork has been for mag articles.

Like you, I find keeping notebooks invaluable. I am always waking up in the middle of the night with an idea and just forget them if I don't write them down.

Gosh Emma, in the middle of the night? I am not that bad...Does that mean I am not passionate enough about clay?  ;D  :P

No, I think I am just probably too obessed. I have a lot of "work" dreams - many of which do seem to involve claying!
