Title: Old Premo Sculpey
Post by: Spangles on October 20, 2017, 10:23:08 AM
Can anyone tell me how long Premo Sculpey can be kept and then used successfully?  I have unopened packets with dates of 2011, 12 and 13 on the sides!  Is there a product that can be used to help with conditioning old packs?  They do feel slightly hard but still have bendable edges.

It might be ok, the only way to tell is to give it a go.

Yes, you can buy clay softener to make it more malleable.

Warm it up a bit - sit on it or keep it in a pocket, then take thin slices and go over them with your roller before attempting to put them in the pasta machine.....don't be in too much of a hurry to add softener  ;)
